Alabama’s Detroit Show, First of New Tour, Postponed for Health Issues

Alabama’s Fox Theater show on Thursday, their first of the 50th Anniversary Tour, has been postponed to an unannounced date. Here’s the official statement from the band’s site:

ALABAMA: 50th Anniversary Tour performance scheduled for Thursday, January 10 in Detroit at the Fox Theatre is postponed due to Randy Owen experiencing severe back spasms. Management is quickly working to have a new performance date soon. Please check back soon for details. We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

The next scheduled date on January 11 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. UPDATE: The Indianapolis show has also been postponed.
