Ever wondered where the NFL gets their game balls, even the ones played on the big stage in February? They come from a small village right here in Ohio.

According to Wilson’s website, the Wilson Football Factory in Ada, Ohio has been turning out game-ready balls for over 70 years. How many have they produced over that time? Wilson states more than 700,000 footballs a year have been handmade since 1955.

Ada, located about 70 miles southwest of Toledo, has a population just over 5,200, according to the U.S. Census.
