Garth Brooks Joins Pittsburgh Pirates for Spring Training

Garth Brooks makes his return to baseball to mark the 20th anniversary of his charity, the Garth Brooks Teammates for Kids Foundation. The sports-focused foundation has raised more than $100 million for children’s charities.

Previously, Garth has been a member of other MLB teams, including the San Diego Padres in 1999, the New York Mets in 2000, and the Kansas City Royals in 2004.

Brooks reported Monday with the pitchers and catchers, but workouts do not begin until Thursday.
