Grand Ole Opry to Honor Dolly Parton’s 50th Anniversary

Dolly Parton became a member of the Grand Ole Opry in January 1969, and to celebrate, the Opry is dedicating an entire week to Parton next October.

According to Rolling Stone, Opry’s Dolly Week 2019 will include a three-night tribute to Parton from October 10th to 12th. The first night kicks off with performances of her Number One hits, the second night will explore her bluegrass and Americana roots, and the final night will feature back-to-back performances from Parton and yet-to-be-announced special guests.
