Dayton’s TV stations, along with the stations in the rest of the country, are modifying their broadcast frequencies. Their Channel numbers will remain the same, but the frequency they use to access that channel are changing. If you are using an antenna for local channels (this does not apply if you get your local channels from a cable tv provider), and you notice that your favorite channel isn’t there anymore, access your tv’s menu and re-scan your channels. It should pick up the station’s new frequency and you’ll be back to watching as before.
Click on >>THIS LINK<<, enter your zip code and it will tell you which stations are changing and when you need to re-scan.
Many older residents may still use digital converters on older television sets. If you know of any of your neighbors this might effect, do a good deed and help them re-scan their tv’s or digital converters.
If you put up a Christmas tree indoors, which do you get?
